Dec 10 Final exams have been graded, and final grades calculated and posted. These are shown on the Grades page. We're done!

Nov 25

I hope you're having a good Thanksgiving break!

I have three very important reminders:

1) Remember that the final Career Plan assignment is due Wednesday (Nov 30th).

2) I'll be handing out the Student Feedback forms on Wednesday. You can turn these back to me any time.

3) I'll also be handing out the take-home Final exam in class Wednesday. These are due by 1:00pm on December 7th (for those of you in section 001) or December 9th (section 002).

Oct 2

I have three very important reminders:

1) Remember that next week, we start the Food Contamination experiment. This means you need to bring in a bit of food to test - something from your lunch? Something from your fridge? Whatever you want. Meat, fruit and veggies have worked well in the past.

2) The CALS Career Expo is next Thursday - October 27th. It might seem a bit early to be worried about jobs, but there will be folks there who offer internships, and in any case it's best that your first time at the Expo NOT be the time you REALLY NEED a job. So plan to attend. In order to facilitate this, I will give 1 point each for each business card you collect at the Expo, up to a maximum of 3 points. This is the difference between +/- grades, e.g. the difference between a B and a B+.

3) Lastly, remember that you draft Career Path assignment is due next week. Details about what is expected can be found on the Assignments page.

Oct 2 The Degree Plan assignment has been graded and scores posted on the Grades Page.

Sept 15 Remember that you need to bring in a mall sample of soil for class on Wednesday.

Aug 24 I've added links to degree requirements and 8-semester plans to the resources listed on the Degree Plan assignment on the Assignments page.

Aug 22 Remember that there is an assignment due Wednesday - the "Planner" assignment.

Aug 07 Welcome to MB 103! I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday August 17th.
